Belgium, the battlefield of Europe, where the British fought the French, where the Germans dug their trenches, where the Spanish fought the Dutch… And It’s quite certain that some Viking from the North and the East passed by. And now it’s your turn to come to Belgium and follow in your ancestors footsteps to join the ENYGF2019 conference in Ghent!

The city of Ghent is also the place where many peace treaties were signed, and it is thus the perfect location to get together to network, have a beer and share knowledge. Ghent is a historic but lively University city with about 250.000 people, at the confluence of the Leie and Scheldt rivers. See it as a lively version of Brugge, with a keep, a belfry and a couple of historic channels. And although it’s quite a large city, it feels like a small town with cozy bars and  restaurants.

"Het Pand" is an Old Monastery converted to Conference Center located in the centre of Ghent.
